The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, in collaboration with the Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, the Department of Wildlife Development of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), and Qatar University, is pleased to host a side event seminar titled “From Local to Global: Thailand’s Sustainability and Eco-Tourism Journeys”.
This seminar will showcase Thailand’s best practices and experiences in sustainable community development, environmental education, and ecosystem conservation - highlighting their adaptability to Qatar’s sustainability goals. Featuring experts from both Thailand and Qatar, including representatives from Earthna, the Department of Wildlife Development of MoECC, Qatar University, Thailand International Cooperation Agency, Mae Fah Luang Foundation, the Environmental Education Centre (EEC) Thailand, and Kasetsart University, the event aims to foster cross-border collaboration and inspire innovative approaches that integrate traditional knowledge with contemporary sustainability solutions, contributing to deeper Thailand–Qatar cooperation in climate resilience, eco-tourism, and sustainable development.
