Eng. Razan Zuayter holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and a Master's degree in Plant Protection from the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the American University of Beirut.

She is the founder of Sanabel Landscape and Site Engineering Company in Jordan, the Arab Nature Conservation Organization, and the Arab Network for Food Sovereignty. Additionally, she currently serves as co-chair of the Global Alliance for Food Sovereignty (or Global Alliance for the Future of Food) and is a member of the Sub-Committee for the Eradication of Hunger at the League of Arab States.

Driven by a commitment to food sovereignty, she pioneered the 'Green Resistance' concept, scaling it to regional and international levels. Her visionary efforts have led to the planting of over 3.1 million trees across Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon since 2001. This initiative has empowered more than 47,000 farmers and sustained the livelihoods of 300,000 individuals within their families.

She has relentlessly championed the critical issue of food security in areas affected by conflict, war, and occupation, elevating its priority on both regional and global agendas.
